Made in Homer, AK by Alaska Salt Co.
Pinch and sprinkle Spit Salt over anything you are about to put in your mouth. This raw sea salt adds a little flavor upgrade to any dish. It was never bleached or chemically washed. It's just the plain ol' good stuff right out of the ocean (double filtered to remove whale poop). #whalepoop
Spit, WHAT?!?! Homer is a quaint little fishing town on the southern coast of Alaska and is best known for its geographical landmark, THE HOMER SPIT. It’s a badass land piece that stretches 4.5 miles straight out into the ocean. The salt in this jar was harvested right from the Spit. Hence the dorky name. #spitsalt
SADDLE UP, COWBOY! If John Wayne had a flavor, here it is folks. Become the camp cook from the comfort of home! This alder smoked salt adds a rustic flavor to any food without having to stoke the campfire.
Pinch and sprinkle this sea salt onto salmon fillets, 'taters, sauteed veggies, or your whole dang plate. YUM!
Inspired by Grannie's famous rhubarb pie - sugary sweet and usually a little bit burnt (in a good way). This sea salt has been infused with rhubarb and is then lightly smoked with alder wood. Try it on strawberries or, like Grannie, on the rim of your favorite cocktail.
As purpley-pink as the summer hillsides across Alaska!
Fireweed Spit Salt is made with the blossoms of our state's most iconic wildflower.
These pretty crystals add a colorful finishing touch to any dish, but pair especially well with sugar cookies or green tea ice cream. Or both. #purpleypink
